Managing Partner
David is the managing partner of DKLA LLP and is responsible for managing the overall accounting and consulting business. David has been in the accounting industry over 20 years, most recently holding the role of Chief Financial Officer of a multi-billion dollar insurance carrier in Los Angeles.
“I enjoy working with a team of motivated and knowledgeable accounting professionals and solving problems for our clients. Having immigrated from South Korea at age 19, I have developed a unique skill to understand and appreciate what every client with various cultural and professional backgrounds wants and needs. My primary focus as Managing Partner is to establish a team of quality and reliable accounting professionals who listen to our clients and bring in solutions for them. I believe with my prior experience as a finance consultant will enable our firm to connect deeply with our clients in achieving the highest possible accounting and tax solutions. We stay behind our quality professional services with transparency and integrity.”
David began his career at KPMG’s Los Angeles office, where his clients included insurance carriers and agencies. He is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and he was the 2013 and 2014 President of the Southern California Insurance Accounting and Systems Association. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He enjoys golf and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Peter is the partner of DKLA LLP and is responsible for all accounting and consulting services. Peter has been in the accounting industry for over 7 years, most recently worked as the role of Accounting Manager at a million-dollar Korean based P&C insurance carrier branched out in Anaheim.

Peter began his career as an IT consultant in Korea successfully completing various IT project to 20+ company and moved onto Korea based P&C Insurance company working as an actuarial pricing, strategic product planning and eventually accounting manager in Anaheim, United States. He is a graduate of the Master of Science in Mathematics at Illinois State University. He enjoys spending time with his family.

After running his own international business over 15 years, Michael joins DKLA LLP with a deep understanding of strong work ethics and financial operations. His main focus as a partner is to identify customer’s needs and to guide them throughout the complex finance and taxation compliance.
“I was involved in a serious car accident when I was in college and learned the U.S. healthcare system was not simple to follow. I think health insurance is a necessity living in the U.S. but due to its complexity and complication, most people do not know how to utilize them properly.
